The new Chelsea home jersey takes inspiration from Chelsea’s past, with the design taking inspiration from the Chelsea strips of the 1980′s.
The three stripes for jersey maker Adidas are in blue for the first time in the club’s history.
Chelsea’s new home jersey for 11/12 will be worn by the Blues for the first time in their final home game of the season against Newcastle United ( May 14, 2011). The playing Chelsea strip contains Adidas’ Techfit technology while the replica shirt contains the Climacool technology.
